Quaglino’s sits on Bury Street. It is a ten-minute walk from St. James’s Park.
The room runs smart and elegant, but the real utility here is the scale. Most dining rooms in this part of London are cramped affairs designed for hushed, solitary business. Quaglino’s offers a theatrical, open-plan space that feels designed for the opposite—a place meant to be loud and seen. If you prefer the intimacy of a classic, sequestered tavern, the cavernous, international-focused menu will feel impersonal and overly grand. However, for those tired of the claustrophobia common to neighboring St. James’s venues, this is the only room in the area that doesn't demand you whisper to your neighbor.
