If you live in Boston, Contessa is a must-visit! It looked like a nice place to get drinks online, so my boyfriend and I decided to go for drinks/dessert on our anniversary. It exceeded expectations! Contessa has a speakeasy feel, beautiful interior (I mean, wow), and incredible views of the city. Our server was super nice and attentive, and so was the rest of the staff. I can’t speak much to the food, but our cake and bellinis were delicious. The only downside to me was that their cocktail menu was a little limited (lots of gin drinks), but we found drinks that we were interested to try. Drinks are around $20 for those wondering, so it’s definitely a pricey spot but I’d recommend for a special occasion!

Beautiful restaurant. Quiet ambiance. Comfortable seating. Squash the vegetable is not my thing, but that appetizer dish of the squash carpaccio is one of the most amazing things I've eaten. I would order it next time I come here. The lamb entree was exquisite. Amazing views of Boston. Attentive service.

We had a wonderful time at Contessa Celebrating a Birthday. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff is incredible. Our server Nick was top notch even taking some great pictures for us. The apps are definitely big enough to share and we had 2 different Crudos the Tuna and special smoked salmon belly with a Saffron creme fraiche that was great. The Butternut Squash carpaccio is a must! We finished with the Veal Milanese which was juicy and moist with a tasty crust and the Spicy Lobster Capellini that was fantastic Lastly for dessert Contessas take on a Tiramisu is a Boston cream Pie in a glass and was the right amount of sweetness to end the night.
