Caru' cu Bere Bucharest

We visited this place a week ago. I read a lot of good reviews on Google, so we decided to check if this was true. When we arrived at this restaurant, almost all the tables were occupied. But we found one table. The place is really very popular and a lot of people come. The restaurant is large with indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered turkey schnitzel, sausages with cheese and mici with potatoes. We didn't wait long. The food was delicious, especially the sausages with cheese - top! Pricing policy is average, slightly above average. Beautiful restaurant design inside. Overall everything was great, we liked it! But there was one moment that confused us. When we asked for the bill, they brought us a bill from another table (with a higher cost). We paid and the waiter didn't even notice. When we saw this, we asked to review our bill.

It's a Monday night in Bucharest and most restaurants are open with a few people. But this well recommended palace is on fire. There are multiple levels and a full patio outside and packed everywhere, maybe 500 people or more. The live band is playing and the atmosphere is buzzing. Great service from Costache Marius, my waiter. Very historical setting and very traditional fare. Very tasty duck leg. This is a carnivore's haven

What an amazing place, decor, food and choice of drinks is fantastic. The atmosphere in this place is unforgettable. The Romanian dancers are a joy to watch. If you visit during busy periods expect a delay in getting food /drink but the staff do their very best to get your order to you as quick as possible.
