Amante sits above the rocky shoreline of Cala Sol d’en Serra. This Mediterranean and seafood restaurant is a ten-minute walk from the centre of Cala Llonga, tucked into a cliffside that catches the afternoon light long after the beach below has fallen into shadow.

The room runs smart, but the real pull is the geography. While most of the island’s heavy-hitting beach clubs fight for space on the sand, Amante uses its vertical drop to create a tiered dining room that feels detached from the water-level crush. It is a more deliberate, architectural approach to the sea view than you will find at the crowded spots closer to the port. If you want the music without the claustrophobia of a packed coastline, this is the only sensible choice on this stretch of the Balearic Islands.
