Mt. Ada

Mt. Ada sits on Wrigley Rd, high above the rest of the island. It is a twenty-minute walk from Avalon Harbor and the Wrigley Memorial & Botanic Garden.

This former estate is the only place to stay if you want to escape the day-tripper crush that defines the waterfront. While hotels closer to the Casino offer convenience, they trade the stillness of these hills for the noise of the docks. The trade-off is the walk; you are isolated here, but that is the point. You come for the elevation and the silence, features that the bustling harbor-side properties simply cannot offer.
