TAO Los Angeles

restaurant

TAO Los Angeles is a cool spot in the city. It's on Selma Avenue and is a big place with two floors. It has a restaurant, lounge, and private rooms for dining. There's a huge 16-foot statue in the main dining area. A big staircase connects both levels, making it a great place to see others and be seen.

Every night, TAO is full of fancy food lovers, social folks, and sometimes even famous people. Chef Ralph Scamardella made up the menu. It has Asian dishes like Miso Roasted Black Cod and Crispy Orange Chicken that are amazing.

The mood at TAO is lively and fun, with cool music playing all around. The lounge has a big bar that's great for hanging out with friends, either before or after eating.

TAO Los Angeles mixes East and West in a cool way, making it a great spot for different events or just a fun night with friends.

TAO Los Angeles Reviews

I have been to Tao in las Vegas so I wanted to see if Hollywood gave me the same experience. I will say the atmosphere is amazing. The music is loud enough for you to enjoy it but quiet enough for you to have a conversation across the table with your friends and not have to yell. The service was sketchy at times which is why I only gave the restaurant 4 stars. The food was amazing. I had the fried snapper which is more like snapper nuggets tucked inside the body of the fish (the presentation is amazing). I also had the lobster fried rice which was really good and had enough lobster for me not to complain. The Brussels were disappointing. I expected crispy (even asked them to make them crispier) and they were still pretty soggy and hard to chew. The drinks were really good also. I would recommend you at least try this place out. Make a reservation because every table was full and you shouldn't be disappointed.

Dining here is an experience from the grand front entrance and lounge area to the tiered seating. We had a dinner reservation and were seated near the giant fountain sculpture. The servers worked well together and were quick and friendly. My favourite order was the poke tacos. It came with three pieces. The fish had a nice light sesame flavour and the taco shells had the most satisfying crunch. The lobster wontons came in a dark umami sauce with mushrooms. The crab dumplings were topped with caviar and stuffed with real crabmeat. We also got the shrimp pad Thai and side of brussel sprouts.

A different experience without a doubt in los angeles. The food is delicious. All the flavors are unique and you quickly realize that you are eating quality in each dish, whether it is fish, meat or one of their other dishes. The services are also tailored, from the moment you are waiting to be seated until you leave. Highly recommended
