Hestia Austin Reviews

Well done! Wood-fired cooking in Austin. I came here for 3 times and never disappoint. (One time take out during the covid, won’t do it again lol) We didn’t do tasting menu for thus time but the food was soooo delicious! I have some of my favorite this time which still dreaming about. First, oysters ; so fresh! This is the best in Austin I have had! The flavor and temp of them just perfect, cold and super fresh! Second, pan de cristal ; one of them was churchy inside out but another one was perfect. Soo good! Third, Halibut; (Highly recommend this) what a well done cooking combined with the sauce was the best dish of fish I ever had! Drinks ⭐️⭐️ ; since I’ve been here 3 times so I’d love to try cocktails but every thing just very sweet! It’s been 3 years so just wanna give it a shot! I got “Scouts honor” But it’s like sugar bomb. So I tried another one “Industry standard” which they said not sweet but yes it’s sweet! We learned our lessons and next time just gonna be wine instead.(for me) Berkshire pork chop for me probably too rare, I’ll skip next time. Overall I love Hestia! Definitely coming back!

Extremely cozy, the open kitchen gives room for the wood oven smell to welcome you when you arrive. It's the right kind of dark and sexy. Food it's delicious, the tartare was amazing and the crispy chicharron that it's served with was a perfect combination. The scallop was also terrific, very rich. The wine selection it's fantastic, and I wish they had a little more on the scotch selection, but overall was a great experience

Went to Hestia for a special night & it was great! Dishes were phenomenal & each member of the staff who helped us was very informative and kind. They even wrote out a card for us! Prices are mid-to-upper end, so it’s not a place we could go incredibly often, but we would definitely go back! From the appetizers to the giant shaved ice dessert, we had a blast 😁
